Controlling Text Generation

Parameters of the generate function helps you to control and adjust the output. for example 

  • max_length: refers to the maximum length of the text generated. 
  • num_return_sequence: The different numbers of generated sequences. 
  • temperature: Used to control the randomness of the output. Like: if value is higher like 1.0, it refers to more random output. Lower value like 0.5 means generated text is more focused and inevitable.

Although GPT-2 is a great language model, ethical issues must also be considered. It can sometimes generate misleading or biased information as it takes information from a large number of internet sites and therefore it cannot be reliable.
